Don't waste your time with tourist-y spectacles and gimmicks. Get out to where you can experience life in the Bahamas without the lens of tourism. Talk to people you meet, find out about their lives and their stories, buy handcrafted items for gifts, and pay extra. You'll be glad you did.

You land in Nassau and drive to paradise island and all I can say is it is like a dream come true. Every lavish spa you've ever imagined is intertwined throughout the entire property which is basically an entire island set to look just like the lost island of Atlantis The grounds are filled with statues, fountains, fish, turtles, sting rays, fish tank caves throughout portions of the property, beach front service, fabulous, fabulous pools, great place for kids water slides, game room thumbs all the way up!!!
