Roswell

It was very cool to drive down the street and see aliens decorated all over town.

it was somewhat interesting, however, unless you are really into that stuff don't go out of your way to see all this. I wasted a day going to see all of it.

Roswell was a stop off for us having been to Carlsbad and going back to Texas. It was fairly expensive to stay there, the hotel wasnt great (if you read trip advisor, most hotels there weren't great!) and althou I had hoped to see some Alien stuff, there really wasn't much to see apart from a few shops and a 'museum' that you had to pay to go in and reviews on trip advisor said it wasn't worth it so we didnt bother. I did like the alien street lights, and that was probably the highlight of the place!

What a wonderful place. There are many exciting and diverse places to explore near there. There's the desert and then not too far away are the mountains. Carlsbad Caverns and The Bottomless Lakes are near there. I lived there in 1963.

There is a LOT of NOTHING between Carlsbad and Roswell NM. Many miles of not seeing a thing. Not even power lines.
