I didn't get to go out - I just observed the bus ride to the very fancy hotel. The streets, houses, cars, etc were very poor and run-down, but very colorful and pretty at the same time, and def not as poor as Trivandrum, India.

Went to BD a few times to visit family and family friends. Latest visit: toured microfinance projects, sweat shops, hospitals, and celebrated cousin's wedding.

This is my Country, I live here. I travelled almost everywhere in Bangladesh. and Hope to travel more. Its a beautiful country.

Great people, great food. The Haor region is really interesting - communities living in the river basins which are severely affected by climate change and the unpredictable weather it brings.
