We only touched the border so I guess it was good. We had our pic taken at the concrete marker on the border of Angola and Namibia

"Paradise for a 4 year old"
Lina Sandgren reviewed Angola   about 3 months and 4 hrs ago
I see that there are a lot of people with negative experiences from Angola. I have to disagree... although I suppose that a four year old's point of view may be slightly different than an adult's :) I lived there between the ages of 4 and 6 and I loved it. We lived in the blue UN building in Luanda. To me Angola was a paradise where we bought fresh fish from the fishermen on the beach and had exciting trips in our little Citroën 2CV to Santiago beach and the island off the coast that I can't remember the name of, among other places on the weekends. Of course there was conflict in Angola at the time, this being in the beginning of the 80's, but I can't say that we were ever confronted with that fact much... safely tucked away in our blue building.
