Craig Ulliott Founder & CTO
Craig founded Where I've Been in 2007 and is now the acting CTO. After starting his first development company at age 19, Craig has worked on various technology projects both in Europe and the US. His successes with Where I've Been have been covered in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek. Craig's favorite foods are primarily British and include steak and ale pies, Cornish pasties and bangers and mash. Although born in the UK, Craig is now state side and lives in Chicago, IL.
Michael Dalesandro CEO
Michael's many responsibilities as CEO of Where I've Been include leading the strategic direction, positioning, finances and business development of the company. Because of his obsessive bidding at a charity auction, Michael purchased a trip around the world and hasn't stopped traveling since. His favorite travel destinations include Istanbul, Florence & Bali. Michael is a career long entrepreneur who started in the financial & derivates space. He has funded & managed various companies including DRO|WST Trading, Victory Networks, M&R executions, The Point Derivative Fund & Blueye.com.
Katy Lynch Community Manager
Katy is the Community Manager. She manages Where I've Been's active community, the blog and the Twitter account (@whereivebeen). Katy has a very eclectic taste in music, ranging anywhere from indie to electronica to alternative rock to cheesy 80's pop! Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, Katy busted out her raft one day and decided to set sail to the wonderful city of Chicago. She now lives there until she is blown away by the treacherous winds.
Josh Meyer Creative Director
Josh is responsible for most of the company's current designs, including the infamous Where I've Been logo! Josh has a highly addictive personality, and his current addictions include coffee, color, web 2.0, instant messenger, designer tennis shoes, grapes, and Facebook. Josh has a BA in Visual Communications from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and in 2001, he became a founding partner in the award-winning graphic design company 2turn Media. Although a previous resident of Colorado for seven years, Josh currently lives in Colorado with his wife and two children.
