"Visited Chanderi as part of the Intrepid Unforgettable India tour in April 2009.
Chanderi is a rather ancient city dating back to the times of the Silk Road.
We met Kallebhai, a wonderful man who is not only an approved guide but also has ties with the Department of Archeology. He and his community welcomed us warmly into their town. He graced us not only with the history of the area but the hospitality of the area.
This was the one place that I felt truly welcomed and safe in India."
