Was invited to dinner there one night. That is all I got to see of Maryland. Was wishing I could have seen more of the state.

Didn't realize Florida had so many towns in the Northern part of the state that were so far apart. We really liked Panama City Beach. Of course, we went to Orlando and visited Disney World. That was fun. I liked seeing all the Orange Groves.

Saw Honolulu. Didn't have what it takes to climb Diamond Head. Was very impressed with Pearl Harbor. I enjoyed the Dole Plantation. The beaches are beautiful. The water is so blue. I loved all the different trees and flowers. The humidity would be hard to deal with. Want my hubby to see it. Didn't get to go to the beach at Waikiki. Sure did want to.

I am impressed with their 35 mile long bridges over the swamps! Really liked Baton Rouge and touring the McIlnery Hot sauce plant. The swamp tour was very interesting. Wish we could have seen New Orleans before Katrina. We tried, but never could find Bourbon Street. It was raining!

What a big river! Crossing the bridge is fun. Seeing the Paddle wheelers was fun too! When it rains there is pours! Have good friends who live there.Had fun doing a Swamp our and visiting a Civil War park. When they talk about the Caissons rolling along you just have to picture this.

Will always remember driving through and seeing the quilts being sold at roadside stands. Was wishing I had the money to buy one. Remember being in a terrible rain storm. Rained so hard we could not see the road.

liked the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Didn't like the humidity or the bugs. Still have family living there. I couldn't wait to get out of there. They are still fighting the Civil War. Tannahill Park was fun to go to. Great history!

Six Flags in Atlanta was a blast. Just don't go during Spring Break! I like the history surrounding it.

Loved the Smoky Mts., Ashville, Hickory, all the furniture building places. Gatlinburg was so pretty and such fun. Loved the restaurant that served all that Trout. Pretty area around Gatlinburg. Hope to get back there some day.

Fun to see these Eastern States. It was nice and green when we saw it.
